Mayor Bloomberg Releases the Hounds

Last week, perhaps the most interesting thing to come out of May's Community Board One meeting (representing Greenpoint and Williamsburg) was a time-filling anecdote from local "Good Guy" District Manager Gerry Esposito. Esposito told the public about the time he was escorted out of Mayor Bloomberg's volunteer service organization event. Well, the Times picked it up and Jim Dyer recapped the anecdote. This isn't the first time in recent memory the Mayor has embarrassed himself in public. I just always seem to happen to know the people involved.
