New Kings Endorsements: Give Me Something to Break

Sometimes I just feel like breaking things. So how about this one: New Kings Democrats has made their official endorsement tonight at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church for the 33rd, 34th, and 35th District. The results are in and Evan Thies is the big winner, receiving a supermajority of votes in the 33rd District (representing Williamsburg, Greenpoint, Downtown Brooklyn, Brooklyn Heights, Boerum Hill and other points south). NKD did not end up endorsing Diana Reyna or Maritza Davila or Gerry Esposito in the 34th District (Williamsburg and Bushwick), but do not be surprised to see individuals helping out one of those candidates. Tish James received the endorsement in the 35th District (Fort Greene, Bedford Stuyvesant, Clinton Hill, Crown Heights), which is not a surprise.
Update 11:30 PM: Jo Anne Simon received Lambda Independent Democrats endorsement too, with a margin of 2 to 1 over her nearest competitor (Ken Diamondstone).
