David Yassky is the bees knees

Councilmember David Yassky has been getting a lot of buzz this week and some film regarding his bee bill. Beekeepers want to collect honey in rooftop hives, but the city has declared rooftop hivery illegal. Introduced in February, Yassky and Just Food are trying to put some momentum behind the bill with a press conference at City Hall held yesterday. As if that weren't enough, this morning, the Times Dining section has an article about a beekeeper's ball held at the Water Taxi Beach. Also, I keep getting calls from the worker bees at David's Comptroller campaign to volunteer my time or donate jars of honey to keep the thing going. How do I get off this list? Sending envelopes with shards of plastic credit cards is probably not going to work.
