Busy day for Marty Markowitz. First, he's got the City Planning Commission hearing at 22 Reade Street where Marty testified for zoning that allows for more grocery stores providing fresh produce in Brooklyn neighborhoods, then he's at the Greenest Block in Brooklyn celebration at the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens in Park Slope (Congratulations Lincoln Road in Lefferts Gardens!), and finally the ULURP hearing for the Broadway Triangle. I asked Marty if he was looking forward to the ULURP today, which starts at 4:30 PM and could last until tomorrow. He ruffled like a pigeon. I think that was off the record.
