TransGas Energy and Pop's Popular Clothing (Williamsburg)

Two big news stories this week for one small corner of Williamsburg. First, TransGas Energy lost its appeal in court. Sam Newhouse from the Eagle has the analysis, while the Daily News has what it means for the future Bushwick Inlet Park.

Just up the street, Pop's Popular Clothing tries to stave off closing for good by lobbying the Department of Transportation and local elected officials regarding the elimination of nearby parking and the extension of the two-way bike lane on Kent Avenue. David Yassky's office has been engaged in raising the issue with the DOT. Tracking.
