She's back! Well, Maritza never really left. It's been a quiet two weeks, but she's almost ready to re-launch her City Council campaign for the general election under the Working Families Party line. She was spotted at the Make the Road New York march over the Brooklyn bridge this morning, looking very much like a candidate. She's got until tomorrow to fax her certified statement form over to the Campaign Finance Board in order to be considered for a public matching funds payments.
Will Vito put his full Kings County Party resources into reclaiming the 34th District seat? Will Diana Reyna successfully mobilize her network of supporters for the general election run? Will the Working Families Party devote as much manpower to this race as they did with Brad Lander and Jumaane Williams? Will Jay-Z throw his hat into the ring at the last minute?
