Tomorrow I will be posting my Top 5 posters/ flyers/ campaign gimmicks of the primary season. I know. You've all been waiting for this. We're breaking some new ground here on the blog. Think of it like Eric Asimov's The Pour, but for campaign lit.
Speaking of the Times, Council candidates are eagerly waiting endorsements in the paper's Opinion section. They didn't come today. They may come tomorrow. They'll probably come on Sunday. As one candidate told me, "they were very hard to read." In the 33rd and 39th race, talk on the beat is that Jo Anne Simon, Evan Thies and Brad Lander and Josh Skaller are contenders, but don't be surprised if something else happens. All of them are particularly jumpy this week.
If I were younger and not working in the media industry, I might consider making a call or two over to campaign headquarters...

Seems like your employer is backing Thies:

Check out our latest on Jo Anne Simon and her taking money from board members at Brooklyn Bridge Park Development Corporation who want to build luxury apartments inside of Brooklyn Bridge Park. Ooops! Bad move, Jo Anne.

Keeping It Real
Yassky Harry Potter flier is hands down the best of the season. Kudos.
What about Steve and.the cat (is it his anyway or a prop?) Dog lovers in North Brooklun have enough to worry about without a cat lovin' representative!
Actually my employer endorsed Steve Levin.
