Linderman is missing No Pants Ride...

...because she is in New Bedford, Massachusetts this weekend at Moby Dickfest, the 24-hour marathon Moby Dick reading at the town's Whaling Museum. Juliet Linderman of the Greenpoint Gazette will be reporting back for us about the sights and smells of the event. From what I've heard so far, it sounds heavenly. People camp out underneath a giant whale skeleton, taking turns reading passages of Melville's opus novel and feasting on clam chowder and stale beer. Afterward, they all go to the shore to find a beached whale and blow it up. I'm just watching the playoffs.
